Video appears to show some kidnapped Chibok girls alive

Nigeria Kidnapped GirlsLAGOS, Nigeria (AP) – A schoolmate cries with joy at the sight of a Boko Haram video appearing to show some of Nigeria’s kidnapped Chibok girls – friends she hasn’t seen since they were abducted by the Islamic extremists two years ago.
CNN broadcast the video, as well as the news network’s own footage of tearful mothers recognizing their daughters, one reaching a hand toward a computer screen as if she could pluck her girl right out and bring her home.
The schoolmate, who escaped and now calls herself Saa, said Thursday that campaigning mustn’t stop until Nigeria’s government takes action.
The extremists seized 276 girls from a school in northeastern Chibok town the night of April 14, 2014. A total of 219 remain missing.
