I did bachelors of Arts and MBA with HR & Marketing as majors.
When & why you came to Canada?
We as a family immigrated in 2006 and settled at Fort McMurray.
Your career advancement initiatives and present occupation
I was stay home mom for 7 years to raise my kids. Subsequently, I established my business successfully ( Rajasthan Creations). I am also executive member of Hindu Society of Fort McMurray.
Your regret in life
I have no regrets. I’ve been blessed with life’s good fortune.

My biggest achievement is bringing up my kids with fundamental qualities and values so they could be an asset to our society.

What you miss in Canada?
Though this wonderful country has given me the utmost respect and has always made me feel welcomed, I still miss the friends and relatives back home.
Are you happy in Canada?
Yes, I’m very happy in Canada.
I feel that Canada has given us a much better lifestyle, a sense of safety and peace. Canadians are treated so well world over. Wherever I travel and mention that I’m from Canada, I am warmly greeted.
Any comments on Canada’s weather
I enjoy all the weathers in Canada. I go for an early morning walk every day. I enjoy the frigid cold breeze in winters and sunny warm mornings in summer.

Canada is a multi-cultural Nation. I enjoy trying different types of foods, clothes, dances and meeting people from various ethnicities.
What brought you success in Canada?
Great support of my family. Ethical values and simple hard work have been the secret to my success.

Welcoming and supporting people coming to Canada has made our country great. I could help them with job search, how to find various services and guide them regarding values and culture of Canada.
Your message for Canadians of Asian origin
My message to all the Canadians of Asian origin is to preserve our values, languages and imbibe in our kids. Involve them in various cultural activities, teach them folk dances and native languages. Instill the qualities and values as they become future leaders of our wonderful country. Also, always give back to society.
