I was born and raised in village Pakriyar Bishnupur (Gorakhpur), Uttar Pradesh, India. My father was Provincial Government Employee in Revenue Department and my mother was Housewife. We had joint family and my uncles were farmer.
Your Early Education:
I did Primary education in village Pakariyar Bishnupur and High School in small City Ghughli, Did Graduation from University of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India and Doctorate from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India.
When & Why You came to Canada:
I came to Canada in 1982 to advance my experience and Education in Medicinal Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, University of Alberta under program of Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research.
Your career advancement initiatives, volunteer work and present occupation:
At present, I am retired from Vice President Position.
As regards volunteer work, I have worked with many NGOs at different position including President to Alberta Hindi Parishad, Shanti Niketan Society for Seniors and Semi-Retired, Hindu Society of Alberta, Council of India Society of Edmonton, Society for Education and Assistance for Rural Indian Children, Vedanta Society of Edmonton and Society of Friends of Nepal and Ankur Multicultural Association for Performing Arts
Your Regret in Life:
I have no regret whatsoever as I chose Canada for my career advancement.

My recognition in Global Scientific fraternity allows me to beam with pride.
I had worked at different position in Field Medicinal Chemistry and retired as Vice-President, PBR Laboratories Inc. and have published more than 60 original research articles in an International Reputed Journals, invited review articles and Chapter in Book.
I have more than 25 original patents from the research work carried out during my tenure with different organization.
I have been peer reviewer of more than 4 reputed Journals in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry. I was also on Editorial Advisory Board of Anti-Cancer Agents in Medicinal Chemistry.
Two medicines are already in market from our Research Group.
Did you face discrimination?
I faced discrimination in Managerial / decision making position.
However, it did not deter me to pursue my Professional goals.
Are You Happy in Canada?
Absolutely.

I corroborate Canadian Culture with our Indian Culture and follow good points in both Cultures.

I love Canadian weather except winter months of January and February.
