Team Awaaz-e-Punjab: Developments positive, says Pargat Singh

Awaaz-e-Punjab team—Navjot Singh Sidhu, Jalandhar Cantt MLA Pargat Singh and legislator brothers from Ludhiana Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains—met in Delhi on Friday.
Sidhu later sought four-five more days to declare how will they go about in the Punjab polls.
Sources said the leaders discussed the consultations going on with the Congress over alliance or outfit’s merger.
“Sidhu, who has been authorised to take the call by all of us, will decide in another five days. I hope by the end of this month, things will be clear,” Pargat told HT from Delhi. He admitted that there were some “positive outcomes” on the possibility of the forum’s aligning with the Congress.
“I can’t divulge details but something serious was on the cards. A positive development has happened today,” said Pargat.
