Tamil Nadu: IT raids at Vaikundarajan’s VV Minerals, 100 locations being searched

The Income Tax Department is conducting searches related to mining manufacturer VV Minerals and it’s owner Vaikundarajan on Thursday morning.
CHENNAI: The Income Tax Department is conducting searches related to mining manufacturer VV Minerals and it’s owner Vaikundarajan on Thursday morning.
The raids are underway at more than 100 locations in Tamil Nadu. More details awaited
Apart from the mining company, several other firms owned by Vaikundarajan, including the premises of a local television channel, is also being searched.
Established in 1989, VV Minerals manufacturers and exports garnet and ilmenite.
