Suspicious bag found on flight at Amritsar airport; security beefed up

Security was heightened at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport after a suspicious bag was reportedly found on a SpiceJet flight that arrived from Dubai on Thursday morning.
The flight was immediately taken to an isolation bay after the information poured in.
Officials of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Punjab Police were examining the situation. A bomb disposable squad had also reached the airport by the filing of this report.
Officials said they can reveal something only after the investigation.
