A major winter storm that hit the mid-Atlantic U.S. states on Monday caused federal offices and public schools in Washington, D.C., to shut down for the day. The DC Snowball Fight Association took the opportunity to transform a public park into ‘The Great Meridian Chill Battle of 2025,’ inviting residents to come out and chuck a few snowballs at each other.
