Fierce gunbattle underway in J&K’s Pulwama; one terrorist killed, two trapped

A fierce gunbattle is currently underway in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district’s Bamnoo area since Monday morning.
Pulwama: A fierce gunbattle is currently underway in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district’s Bamnoo area since Monday morning.
According to reports, a terrorist has been gunned down in the ongoing encounter by the security forces, while two have been trapped. The slain terrorist has been identified as Kifayat.
All efforts are on to smoke them out.
The security forces began the operation following a tip off about the presence of a group of terrorists in the area.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) and 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) is involved in the search and combing operation in the area.
Yesterday, the security officials in a joint operation began to cordon off Pulwama’s Malangpora area in search of terrorist.
Army, local police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) began search operation in to nab terrorists trapped in the area.
