I am born and bought up in Chandigarh, although my parents are from Uttarakhand in India. Now I live with my family in Ontario, Canada.

I did my schooling in Chandigarh. My Bachelors from Punjab University, Chandigarh & Masters from Punjabi University, Patiala.
When & Why You came to Canada:
I moved to Canada in 2014 after living in Dubai & Qatar for 7-8 years. Myself & my husband decided to move here as Canada was the Best country to live and raise family.
Your career advancement initiatives, volunteer work and present occupation:
Oh man, where do I start? Just couple of months ago, I won International Pageant Mrs. Globe Curve’ 2025 in California after wining Mrs. Canada Globe Curve last year in Edmonton. So, I am literally on top of the Globe (World, I mean).
My Occupation is in Healthcare Industry where I work in a Retirement home. My Volunteer work / advocacy is “Golden Grace: Every Senior Matters” while I work for our Senior Citizens and provide them support & care in their Golden Years.
I decided to support and make people aware of their challenges as there is a long list of Seniors waiting to avail proper care.
Your Regret in Life:
No regrets. Why to regret anything when God has given us such a beautiful life. If I have to name one thing, I will say that I wasn’t able to spend time with my Mom during her last days in 2021.
Pick Any One of Your Best Achievements:
Representing Canada amongst 60 Women from 37 countries & winning Mrs. Globe Curve’ 2025 International title. Now, I am not only a Canadian but also a ‘Globette’.
Did you face discrimination?
I don’t believe in these things. I take things as a Challenge and learn how to overcome them. My motto is – I believe I can fly!!!!
Are You Happy in Canada?
Yes, very happy to be here and called Canadian Citizen.
Your take on Canada’s Culture:
Beautiful. I love how so many immigrants come to this wonderful country everyday and assimilate here and how Canadians accept them with open hearts.
What about Canada’s Weather:
It’s funny, because when I was moving from Dubai, people told me that it’s very cold in Canada and temperature is often from -10 or -20 *C. I just smiled and said, if +50 *C couldn’t melt me in Dubai than -20 *C will not freeze me in Canada.
What Brought You Success in Canada:
Hard work, Discipline & Consistency.
Are You Willing to Help New Immigrants and How?
Yes, I have been helping new Immigrant with job placements from 2014 recently till 2023 when I worked in HR. Maybe 1000s of them.
Now my focus is on Seniors Citizens, so I am telling new Immigrants that we need to support & care for our Senior Citizens specially parents, in-laws, etc. as in their Golden Years they deserve all the love and affection they can get.
Your Message for Canadians of Asian Origin:
My message would be that although we are from our respective countries, but now we are in Canada which is our adopted motherland. We need to take care of it and try to assimilate to Canadian Culture. We moved to Canada as it was the best country to live & settle, let’s make it even better!!
