2007. I immigrated along with my family on point visa for the betterment of my kids
What you did for initial survival
Like other newcomers, I had to do odd jobs. So, worked at The Brick and Airport Security
Your career advancement initiatives and present occupation
I have to upgrade and challenge competency exam. Therefore, I studied that too at an age which do not cope well with rigorous learning schedule. Now, I am certified Barrister, Solicitor& Notary Public and run my practise under the name of “Sharma Law Office”
Your regret in life
Leaving the well-established practise and sphere of influence

Getting justice is the essence of my profession. I am glad that I do my job to the best of my ability and try to perfect every day

What you miss in Canada?
The friends and well-wishers back home. Also, the illustrious practise established with grit and hard work

We all immigrate for the welfare of our kids. Their freedom, security, safety and humongous career opportunities contribute to the hard earned happiness

No doubt winters are harsh. However, one gets conditioned with continuous stay. Summers are really gorgeous and provide an abundant opportunities to explore Canadian natural beauty

Cultures have evolved world over and modern society comprise good as well as evil. It’s one’s own preference to adopt the path of prosperity or doom. Lily always makes its way out of mud which means circumstances or surroundings cannot deter if determination is firm
What brought you success in Canada?
I define my success as an accomplishment to put food on table. Adhering tohigh ethics, meeting fiduciary duties, due diligence and sincerity to purpose and persons, I feel, allowed me to pursue my professional goals. Of course family support plays very vital role and I will like to mention my gratitude towards my significant half, Ritu Sharma

Be engaged and inclusive. Always give back to society. Never dilute your values for an immediate gains. People knock our door to get justice. Serve with an utmost care and high degree of commitment and ethics. Always visualise their problems in their shoes to evolve the best possible solution. Hatred towards none and charity to all
