We are heart wrenched on Abhay’s demise

Edmonton(ATB): “We are heart wrenched on Abhay’s demise” expressed
Narinder Sharma, the native of village Khatkar Kalan of Shaheed E Azam Bhagat
Singh (presently in Los Angeles, US) and an activist of Shaheed Bhagat Singh
Welfare Society, Khatkar Kalan.
Abhay Singh Sandhu was the son of Kulbir Singh, the younger brother of the
revolutionary leader Bhagat Singh. He died at Fortis Hospital in Mohali last week
due to Covid 19.

freedom fighters should remain alive and inculcate the great values in modern
youth. He was mobile on a National level to spread the message of Universal
brotherhood, belongingness and peace” narrated Narinder.
“We as villagers pay our last respects to Abhay and call upon State as well as
Central authorities to do their best possible to combat Covid 19” appealed
overwhelmed Narinder.

Chief Minister Capt Amarinder mourned Sandhu’s demise on Twitter, saying:
“Saddened to know about the demise of Abhay Singh Sandhu, nephew of
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, who passed away after a long illness. My heartfelt
condolences to his family. We will bear the expenditure incurred on his
treatment. May Waheguru grant him eternal peace.”
