Vinod Khanna death: Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and others arrive at veteran actor’s funeral

Legendary Bollywood actor and politician Vinod Khanna passed away today at 11.20 am in Mumbai leaving behind a huge cinematic legacy which remains unmatched. The actor-turned-politician succumbed to advance bladder cancer, reports suggest.
New Delhi: Legendary Bollywood actor and politician Vinod Khanna passed away today at 11.20 am in Mumbai leaving behind a huge cinematic legacy which remains unmatched. The actor-turned-politician succumbed to advance bladder cancer, reports suggest.
His cremation preparation has begun around 5 pm today at Worli crematorium. His family and friends were present ahead of the last rites ceremony, as per initial reports.
The entire film fraternity came for the funeral of the legendary actor. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Danny Denzongpa and many others were seen at the venue.
Khanna is survived by wife Kavita and children Rahul Khanna, Akshay Khanna, Sakshi Khanna and daughter Shraddha.
Vinod Khanna was a BJP MP and several political leaders including PM Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee mourned his death.
