UP CM Yogi Adityanath prays at Saryu River in Ayodhya

3Yogi Adityanath is the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to pray at the Ram Janmabhoomi since 2002.
Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday visited Ayodhya, a day after a special CBI court in Lucknow framed charges invoking criminal conspiracy provision against BJP veterans LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Union minister Uma Bharti and nine others in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case.
Ahead of the proceedings, Adityanath had called on Advani and Joshi and was closeted with them for over 20 minutes. He was later seen animatedly discussing some issues with the lawyers present in court.
– He is scheduled to leave for Lucknow by 5.30 pm.

– He offers prayers to Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi, the controversial site where Babri Masjid was demolished by right wing extremists on December 06, 1992.
– Amidst ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans, Yogi Adityanath arrives at Ram Janmabhoomi.
– ‘Mandir wahin banayenge’ slogans fill the air.
– The UP CM prays at the Hanumangarhi temple, an important religious place in Ayodhya.
– He is accompanied by Dharam Das, against whom conspiracy charges were framed yesterday along with the other BJP leaders.
– UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya.
– Yogi Adityanath arrives in Ayodhya.
– As per officials, there was no link between the court proceedings and Adityanath`s visit to Ayodhya and said that it was pre-scheduled.
– Adityanath will address BJP workers and attend a law and order meeting before returning to Lucknow this evening.
– In his first visit after taking charge, the UP CM will also visit the Hanuman Garhi temple.
– Adityanath is likely to offer puja at the makeshift temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site.
– Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the birth anniversary programme of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas head Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, head of the Ram Janma Bhoomi Nyaas, which led the Ram temple movement in the 1990s. Notably, Das is one of the 12 accused against whom charges were framed by the CBI court yesterday.
