Happy Vaisakhi

Beaumont(ATB): “Happy Vaisakhi to Sikh and Hindu community on the
celebration of the birth of Khalsa and Hindu Solar New Year” expressed His
Worship Mayor of Beaumont, John Stewart and recorded a video message for
the Punjabi community.
Sardar Balbir Singh Chana, Chairman, Gurudwara Millwoods, Edmonton
presented ceremonial sword to Mr. Mayor and thanked Yash Sharma, Editor in
Chief, Asian Tribune to make himself and community inclusive.
Mr. Mayor will also make proclamation in the ensuing Council meeting.

It will not be out of place to mention here that it is the first time in the history
of City of Beaumont that Vaisakhi celebrations have commenced.
