Trump says he still believes in 51st state but says they won’t discuss
Trump was asked about how serious he is when he taunts Canada about being the 51st state.
The president said he thinks it would be best for Canada and said as a real estate developer, when he sees the map without the border he thinks, “That’s the way it was meant to be.”
He did, however, say the two leaders won’t be discussing it today.
Carney jumped in, saying that in real estate, there “are some places that are never for sale.”
“Never say never,” quipped Trump.
