Edmonton (ATB): “We are so overwhelmed looking into the great response”
expressed Yash Sharma, President of Hindu Society of Beaumont during their
event at Southwood Community League Hall last week.

The festival commemorates the wedding of Shiva and Parvati, and the occasion
that Shiva performs his divine dance, called the Tandava.

Around 300 attendees joined to pay obeisance.

Pandit Chandran Iyer Ji and Hitesh Rajput Ji conducted Rudraabhishek and other
rituals.
Brandon Lunty, MLA, Leduc- Beaumont graced the occasion and exchanged
greetings on behalf of the Premier and the Government of Alberta.

Ravinder Chaudhary and Shekhar Shrivastava were honoured for their volunteer
work, and Vivek Ahuja, Rakesh Patel, and Rashmikant Patel were honoured for
supporting the society's initiatives.

Volunteers prepared and distributed delicious mahaprasadam.
Ramesh Trivedi, Honorary Chairman, Yash Sharma and Shekhar Desaigoudar,
Treasurer thanked the attendees for donating generously for the community
cause.

The Hindu Society of Beaumont is working hard to establish a temple in
Beaumont.
