Shilpy Stole the Show

Edmonton (ATB): “I am really overwhelmed and amazed” expressed Shilpy Chawla while interacting with media on her getting crowned as Miss India Worldwide Canada 2018.
“I was successfully runner up for two times in a row in 2016/17 and competed with around 25 participants” said Shilpy.
Daughter of Mr Sat Pal Chawla, Businessman of Village Kishanpura, District Moga (Punjab), Shilpy has been into acting and singing right from Grade 6.
She immigrated toCanada as a student in 2012 and pursued her training of acting.
After doing Journalism from India, she went to complete her Master’s in Business Management at Canada.
She did all kinds of odd jobs in various provinces of Canada and finally adopted Edmonton as her home and is presently working as a Construction Manager with the leading Construction Company.
“Acting and singing is my forte and I enjoy every bit of it” stated Shilpy and credit her parents as well as Edmontonians for her success.
Regarding her latest venture, she confirmed that her new track “Vilaytatan (Jaago)” has been launched successfully which carry lots of stuff for every happy occasion in our community.
