Pakistan media story ‘Indian FS admits surgical strike was a bluff’ completely concocted and baseless: India

4New Delhi: India on Friday completely rejected the news report of News International Pakistan on the India’s surgical strikes along the Line of Control on the intervening night of September 28-29.
Vikas Swarup, official spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, issued a statement saying: The News International Pakistan’s story titled ‘Indian FS admits surgical strike was a bluff’ is completely concocted and baseless.
“The German Ambassador Martin Ney was in the group of foreign envoys briefed by the Foreign Secretary on September 29 on the surgical strikes. They have had no conversation since on this subject,” Swarup tweeted.
New Delhi’s reaction comes after ‘News International Pakistan’ published a story saying, “The Indian foreign secretary in a recent meeting with German ambassador in New Delhi is said to have admitted that there was no “surgical strike” undertaken by the Indian Army inside Azad Kashmir.”
“This startling information has been shared by the German authorities during a recent official meeting with Pakistan Embassy officials in Berlin. The drama of Indian “surgical strikes”, which had already become a global joke, got a serious jolt with its own foreign secretary having admitted that it was a bluff,” the report further stated.
In a first, India carried out surgical strikes on seven terror launch pads across the LoC with the Army inflicting “significant casualties” on terrorists preparing to infiltrate from PoK, days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Uri attack would not go unpunished.
Seven terror launch pads across the LoC were targeted by the Army on the intervening night of September 28 and 29 in a nearly five-hour-long operation during which heliborne and ground forces were deployed.
