08Ranchi: A recent picture of expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh, who had made abusive statement against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, has come to the fore.
According to the picture tweeted by news agency ANI, Dayashankar Singh was last seen at Jharkhand’s Deoghar temple on July 24.
Meanwhile, Mayawati came down heavily on the expelled BJP leader saying, Singh is in Jharkhand which is ruled by BJP…it clearly means he is being protected the ruling party.
A non-bailable warrant has been issued against Singh by a local court for using derogatory remarks against Mayawati.

Singh was expelled by the BJP on July 20, hours after the party had announced that he had been relieved from all organisational responsibilities.
Singh was the Uttar Pradesh unit vice president of BJP.
His remarks had led to a huge controversy with politicians cutting across party lines had criticised the remarks against the BSP supremo.
Even Finance Minister Arun Jaitley expressed regret in the Rajya Sabha, saying that the remarks were highly condemnable.
