Hindu Society of Beaumont celebrated Mother’s Day 

Beaumont (ATB): “We are overwhelmed that around 500 people have turned up from all communities to celebrate Mother’s day with us” expressed Yash Sharma, President, Hindu Society of Beaumont during the event hosted at Beaumont Community Centre last week. 

HSOB was incorporated as non-for-profit society last year and this was their second event after the inaugural event early this year.

Mind blowing performances by Ex-Cabinet Minister Leela Aheer accompanied by her son, Akesh Aheer, acclaimed singer Nandini Debnath, PHF “Billoz” and performers’ from Jeevan Gopal Dance Academy enthralled the audience.

Besides prize for Musical Chairs competition, “Old Mom” and “Mother of smallest child” prizes were awarded to Mata Parsini Mall Ji, 96 years, mother of Commercial Realtor Krishan Mall and Meera Thakur.

Prizes were sponsored by Sunny Sharma, Jiffy Lube, Beaumont, Shekhar Desaigoudar of Century Travels and Residential Realtor, Amarpal Randhawa.

“We believe in interfaith, multiculturalism and diversity” stated Yash Sharma.

HSOB is a socio-religious organization and their upcoming events are distribution of Veg Pakoras on May 27th during Beaumont Days Festival and Festival of Lights (Diwali) on November 05.

Board of Directors honored all performers’ as well as Anjana Babbar and Poonam Aulakh, driving force behind Jeevan Gopal Dance Academy and PHF (Punjab Heritage Folk)
