Congress leader Raj Babbar detained by police in Ghaziabad

Uttar Pradesh Congress President Raj Babbar detained by police during farmers’ movement in Mandola
Ghaziabad: Uttar Pradesh Congress President Raj Babbar detained by police in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday afternoon. Clashes ensued between the party members and police party.
Several Congress members tried to stop the police who made their way into the crowd to detail the former Bollywood actor.
Babbar was participating in farmers’ movement in Mandola, when the incident took place.
Several party members were also detained by police.
Taking to Twitter, Ghaziabad police said police force have arrived on spot and urgent action is being undertaken.
A three-time Lok Sabha MP and a two-time member of Rajya Sabha, Babbar was leading farmers’ rights protest rally.
