I did bachelors in Hotel Management and subsequently completed MBA (Retail Management).

When & Why You came to Canada

Like other immigrants, I immigrated in June, 2010 to enjoy quality of life and humongous growth avenues.

Your career advancement initiatives, volunteer work and present occupation

On reaching, I did all kinds of odd jobs to understand work culture, nitty- gritty of the work requirements and team building.  For the last three years, I am Brand Specialist(Sales) with Mercedes-Benz Country Hills. I staunchly believe in volunteerism. God enabled me to contribute my bit to the various community events and I always support any community initiative which make difference in lives.  

Your Regret in Life

No regrets what so ever. My continuous learning attitude contributed a lots to my betterment.

Uh. I don’t want to dwell upon my professional achievements. Recently I got blessed with a beautiful angel and I consider this as my lifetime achievement award.

Are You Happy in Canada?

Happy? Absolutely. I re-invented myself here and made my career taking my baby steps in the right direction in the last ten years. Found my soul-mate here. With mom, wife and daughter around, life is good.

Any Comments on Canada’s Culture

Canada hands down the best culture in the world as people here welcome all cultures and traditions. The best thing is that Canadians are very keen to learn and practise multiculturalism. I agree young parents have great challenges to raise their kids. However, if you spend lots of time with them, you can get them focussed towards their personal and professional goals.

Any Comments on Canada’s Weather

I agree winters are little depressing. However, Canada is the country where you enjoy all four seasons. At the same time, if you remain positive, you enjoy both outdoors and indoors activities.

What Brought You Success in Canada?

You may be in any part of the world. Hard work, honesty, perseverance, resilience, work ethics and sincerity to purpose and persons have no substitutes. Yes, family plays a very vital role and for that matter, I give full credit to my mother, Ms. Vijay Laxmi and my wife, Ms. Yamini Sharma.

Are You Willing to Help New Immigrants and How?

I am already helping a lot of new immigrants to help find the suitable starter vehicle with honest advices by keeping the profit on the back burner.

Your Message for Canadians of Asian Origin

Help each other and support local small businesses as they very much rely on us. Stay intact to our rich culture. World has become a Global village. We should respect everybody’s faith and beliefs. Live in harmony. Always give back to society. Mutual respect is of paramount importance. Lastly, observe safety measures and stay safe under prevailing pandemic situation
