Your career advancement initiatives and present occupation
I started my international career in 2001 as Marketing Executive with Export House in India. In 2003, I moved to London, UK. I worked there as Sales Support and finally immigrated to Canada in early 2008. I got myself placed as Sales Manager in Safety & Compliance in trucking industry and rose to the level of General Manager. I beam with pride that Alberta Transportation has certified me as NSC Auditor very recently which is a great honor as I am the only South Asian lady auditor who carries so much responsibility on her shoulders.
Your regret in life
My greatest regret is that my dad is not alive today to see how his valuable advice and grooming has shaped me as a responsible business woman, caring mother and a loving wife
Pick any one of your best achievements
My honesty, integrity, trust and work ethics got me NSC auditor certification which I feel is the rarest achievement for me being lady who has to balance personal and professional life

Canada is the land of opportunities and provide level play ground to everybody irrespective of caste, creed, color, sex and country of origin. This enabled me to live my dreams and persuaded me to tread the focussed career path
Any comments on Canada’s weather
I don’t grumble of harsh winters. I am skiing freak. As I am frequent visitor to Gym, winters do not deter me to lead enjoyable life
Any comments on Canada’s culture
Canadian Multicultural umbrella is a boon. One can experience humongous varieties of food, culture, heritage and festivities. I am really blessed that I call Canada, my adopted home
What brought you success in Canada?
I don’t feel there is any substitute of hard work. Sincerity to purpose and persons is the only mantra for success. Above all, the unflinching support extended by my significant half, Raman Sharma
Are you willing to help new comers?
Transportation Industry provide great dividends. However, at the same time, it is the most dangerous Industry and when you are playing with safety, you are playing with your as well as other’s lives who are sharing road with you. I will be the last person to compromise on safety. Earn bread for your dear ones safely as they wait with sore eyes, restless bodies and folded hands for your safe return

There is no short cut to success. Career is made brick by brick. Never be shy of being woman. Fairness of system ensure that everybody is treated at par. There is no time for gossip. Stay focussed. Strike balance between work and pleasure
